Air Jordan Force VI (AJF 6) - Stealth - Light Graphite

As many of you may know, the Are Jordan Force VI has been steadily hitting retailers over the past couple weeks in a variety of colorways. Without fail, Saturday’s mark the weekly release of new Jordan Brand kicks and this weekend with be no different. A new version of the Air Jordan Force VI, which features two shades of grey along with touches of black, white and red, will be making its way onto shelves this week. The upper of the shoe is constructed entirely of smooth nubuck in light grey, dark grey and black on the Swoosh. Red lines the heel tab and the sole is a simple black and white with a translucent Nike Air bubble. Look for these at most Jordan retailers this weekend. via Jordan-ugg.com

Nike Air Max 95 - Four New Colorways

We’ve seen the Fresh Water edition a couple of times already as well as the Team Orange joints, but are no less happy to find two more pairs of the Nike Air Max 95 rocking the classic black-grey-white gradient. All four pairs use this basic template with the eyelets, ‘AirMax’ logo outline and Swoosh appearing in a contrast colour. Joining the aforementioned colours are New Green and Sport Red. The Fresh Water pair are already available at select Nike accounts and you can check all the pics after the jump to decide if you’d like to cop the others when they drop soon. Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke - Waxed Canvas by Mayor

We all know the Mayor is the king of Air Force 1s. His 1000+pair collection is now legendary among sneakerheads. Apparently AF1s are like Pringles, cos dude just did up another nasty Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke at Nike Sportswear’s 21 Mercer St. flagship in NYC. Mayor chose a khaki-coloured waxed canvas for the entire upper and an icey midsole. The remaining contrasts are a rich golden hue, highlighted by the use of identical leathers on the lining and Swoosh. Those both match the outsole, laces and tongue logo, making for an utterly elegant outcome. Again, with these, you got zero chance of getting them, but feel free to head over to 21 Mercer and make an appointment to see what inspires you.

Puma L.I.F.T Racer

Nike may have grabbed headlines with the big cross-marketing campaign for Asafa Powell with music provided by current dancehall megastar Mavado, but let’s not forget the big winner and fastest man on the planet Usain Bolt runs for Puma. In keeping with their current momentum for all things running, Puma is gearing up for the release of the L.I.F.T Racer, possibly one of the lightest sneakers you’ll ever set foot in. L.I.F.T, which stands for lite injected foam technology, simply means a lightweight foam is injected into a shoe mold to create a one piece upper, resulting in a shoe that screams efficiency as well as comfort. While most sneakers require the several pieces to be glued and stitched together, this shoe is all one piece with the upper mesh stitched right onto the one piece foam. At a price point of $75, you pretty much can’t go wrong. The L.I.F.T Racer will be available at Puma Concept stores and Finish Line locations nationwide as well as online at Jordna-ugg.com starting March 14, 2009.

Beams Plus x New Balance M990 EX 10th Anniversary Edition

In commemoration of the 10 year anniversary of its first release, Japanese brand Beams Plus added their touch to the New Balance M990 EX. At first glance, this one appears similar to many other NB runners. It’s the little details that really take this one over the top: rich grey suede finds precision stitching binding it to tonal mesh inserts. A turquoise outline on the ‘N’ side panel logo offers a subtle contrast and compliments the appearance of a bright orange N on the lace stay. The left and right heels are adorned with ‘1990′ and ‘2009′, respectively, so you’ll never forget the occasion. Converse Weapon Skate Ox - Black Leather

The Converse Weapon is enjoying a renaissance of late. The newest edition is the Converse Weapon Skate Ox. A black leather lowtop featuring ostrich leather accents, the Weapon has been reimagined as a lowtop skate shoe. This one features a vulcanized rubber sole and a dope geometrically-patterned lining and insole. Converse Blog alerted the world of the Weapon Skate’s availability with these detailed pics, and we found that a few other colours are available at Eastbay in the lowtop model and an ankle strap-equipped hightop. Gourmet Il Due - Zippered Epi Leather

Gourmet done gone and grown up real quick-like. Once thought of as a brand whose only trick was jockin’ classic Air Jordan designs, the delicious brand has proven the doubters wrong with its upscale line for 2009. Nike Hyperdunk Z by Cirq

We received a slew of sneaker sketches recently from a young designer in Boise, Idaho named Cirq. Cirq is a 14-year old designer who is looking for customers to buy his designs. You can get in touch with the burgeoning sneaker artist by emailing cirqsshoes@gmail.com if you are interested in the designs below.

The design I enjoyed most out of the packet was the Nike Hyperdunk Z featured at the top of the post. Cirq says that he could customize these sneakers in a size 9 for about $120. A committed sneaker artist, Cirq can complete these designs in the matter of a few class periods. While the design suffers from a lack of color, the sketch shows that Cirq has a good eye for detail.

The remaining sketches are featured below with most ranging from $85 to $100 per pair in a size 8.5 or 9. We do not typically publish sketches or renderings of sneakers on MyAirShoes but Cirq’s detailed sketches show that he is making more than a half-hearted effort. Cirq’s early start in the world of sneaker art could mean a long career of customizing Nikes for loyal customers.

Air Jordan Dub Zero - Summer 2009 Releases

Along with the slew of Air Jordan Force IX (AJF9) releases on tap for Summer 2009, Jordan Brand is releasing new editions of their original hybrid: the Air Jordan Dub Zero. First up on April 18 is the cement grey version featuring the speckled midsole elements first seen on the untouchable Air Jordan III. A little over a month later, two new pairs in black will drop. Nearly identical in their use of black midsole, laser-etched panel and patent leather all around, these differ by their use of midsole accents and lining: laser blue for one, taxi on the other. All three feature the newly heightened-contrast laser-etching on the Air Jordan XIII-like side panels, making for a nice revision to this modern classic. Air Jordan XX3 (23) - Carmelo Anthony - PE

In this round of Air Jordan XX3 player exclusives, you know Jordan Brand wouldn’t leave out Carmelo Anthony who you may now as the former NCAA champion who is looking to get his first NBA Championship Ring in the next couple years. Melo gets two XX3 PEs, one in a a Nuggets’ home colorway and the other in an away scheme. The away colorway, seen above, comes in mostly black with university blue accents on the out-sole and the design on the upper’s fabric while yellow stitching lines the area above the mid-sole and up the fin in the back. On the home colorway, seen after the jump, university blue is used in the same fashion as on the Air Jordan XX3 Premier Titanium, which dropped early in 2008. The rest of Melo’s home XX3 is white with yellow and blue accents on the uppers. Apparently, these player exclusives never made it to Melo’s hands so a lucky (well monied) collector can cop one or both of these pairs now at Jordan-ugg.com.
